Rehau Geneo

GENEO® is the first fully reinforced polymer window system that doesn’t rely on steel for its strength. GENEO® is composed of RAU-FIPRO™, a proprietary fiber composite material similar to those employed in aeronautic construction and racing vehicles for outstanding strength and load capacities.

The warmest among PVC systems

Allows highest installation stability and security

3 surrounding seal levels

The three seals are strategically located to provide maximum insulation.

6 chambers, width 86 mm.

Provides unmatched thermal insulation, surpassing the requirements

Characteristics:

  • Installation width of the work frame: 86 mm / medium seal
  • number of chambers: 6 chambers
  • thermal insulation index: Uf / 0,89 W/m²K
  • Energy saving: to 76%
  • Material: RAU-FIPRO multilayer fibrous material, coextruded outer layer of high-tech RAU-PVC for the best surface quality
  • Sound insulation index: Rw,P = 47 dB (with glazing Rw = 50 dB)
  • Protection: up to protection class 3, up to protection class 2 without steel
  • Air permeability - class 4 (EN 12207)
  • Water tightness class - 9A (EN 12208)

RAU-FIPRO

This is a composition of plastic and fiberglass. Plastic acts as a filler and binder. RAU-FIPRO multilayer fibrous material and patented IVS (Integrated Enhancement System) give GENEO profound stability.

The function of the third seal

The third seal not only improves the thermal insulation, but also provides additional sound barrier, i.e. REHAU Geneo windows have better sound insulation and the closure closes easier (with less effort) thanks to the optimized seal design.
